We are owners and breeders of the loved Cane Corso. We are taking the love of the breed and turning that into a family business.
Our Corsos are great family companions as well as fierce guard dogs. They love to be with us, but are also protective of their property.
Our Cane Corsos are all AKC registered, and our objective is to produce loving dogs that will enhance any family that we decide
to place them with. When we have puppies on the ground we are giving them the love, support and socialization they need to
become the best they can. The reason we decided to breed is because after we owned our first three, we think everyone, that can,
should experience this majestic breed as we have. That and helping to produce the best Cane Corso that we can. We look forward
to you enjoying this journey with us.
The Cane Corso is an Italian mastiff breed often kept as a companion or guard dog. It is also occasionally used for livestock protection. Historically, this breed was employed for hunting large game and herding cattle.
According to the Fédération Cynologique Internationale breed standard, the Cane Corso was once widespread across much of the Italian peninsula but was more recently confined to the Puglia region in southern Italy. Following the decline of the mezzadria share-cropping system in the 1960s, the breed became rare.
The modern Cane Corso emerged through selective breeding of a few remaining specimens starting around 1980. A breed society, the Società Amatori Cane Corso, was established in 1983. The breed was officially recognized by the Ente Nazionale della Cinofilia Italiana in 1994, gained provisional recognition from the Fédération Cynologique Internationale in 1996, and achieved full recognition in 2007. The American Kennel Club recognized the breed in 2010.
